Recently, in the midst of major economic development along Grand Army Plaza, Eastern Parkway and with the pending Atlantic Yards project and the Brooklyn Bridge Park expansion, North Flatbush Avenue continues to be the "gateway' to shopping, entertainment and cultural institutions.

Our close proximity to Brooklyn's key areas provides us with the opportunity to attract tourist, shoppers, residents and merchants, who will be introduced to North Flatbush Avenue for the first time.  However, no major development on our Avenue has taken place for over 30 years.  In order to prepare for the continued revitalization of Downtown Brooklyn, Grand Army Plaza, Eastern Parkway and its surrounding communities and to welcome tourists from all over the world to the district, the BID has embarked on its first steps seeking major support and assistance from our community and it's representatives.

We will keep you posted as to our progress and future initiatives.
